I was in town for a conference but wanted to be close to the highway and places to eat. I was happy to find the Fairfield Inn & Suites by The Domain.
I reserved a king bed suite, which was quite spacious. The separate living area is great to sit and chill or eat a meal. The desk has more than enough outlets, which means it was designed with today's person in mind. I didn't find any USB outlets, so that can be an issue for some.
The bed isn't the most luxurious, but it's decent. I slept well and I had a room facing the highway. I'm not a light sleeper, but I didn't even hear the highway or the train nearby.
Overall, this is a great value. The front desk team is polite and very cordial. The complimentary breakfast is pretty good too minus the turkey sausage.
It is right off the highway…rooms/windows need more insulation so one can get good night sleep. It is noisy at night. The rooms were clean however, needs some renovations. There should be a light & electrical outlet near the full length mirror so you can see it better. The ac is really loud so hard to keep it on while you're sleeping. Bed was very comfortable, and so were the pillows.
It's right off the highway so can be kind of noisy. In addition it's very close to the Domain but you can't get there easily unless you drive. The rooms are adequate. There should be a light near the full length mirror so you can see it better. The bathroom is pretty basic and the bed is kind of hard to lie on. The ac is loud so hard to keep it on while you're sleeping.
Breakfast is decent with lots of options and everything is clean. Don't forget to tip the person who puts the Breakfast out.
We had a very short stay for business. Front desk was super friendly and welcoming. First room we got had a problem, but she was quick to rectify the problem at our request. Bed was comfortable and pillows were too. Breakfast was adequate, and the location is great. We went to eat at the Domain the night we arrived, as they had many late dining options.
Breakfast has returned to its usual quality, selections and flavor prior to the pandemic. Good workout gym. Nice pool. Very comfortable room.
Jay , night manager was outstanding! There was a confusion about reservations from company making arrangements for us. And he as humanly possible was able to keep peace for us and him. When the computer systems were not working!! I would want Jay working for me any day! Quality of instilling peace in your customers in the midst of the storm is paramount!!
Stayed for three nights recently. Work related trip. Normally I stay at another Marriott property but the price here was pretty favorable this time.
Front desk was in a good mood and polite when I checked in. The rooms are dated and some pretty old carpet but seemed to be clean enough.
Complementary breakfast. A few hot items, cereal, yogurt, bread, coffee, etc.
There is not really restaurants or retail within a reasonable walking distance. Business park to the south, freeway to the west and north, railroad to the east. You need a car if you want to go anywhere.
Unfortunately had a bad stay here. I woke up at 4am due to feeling multiple things crawling on my face and neck. I jump up and slap them off and turn on the light to see 2 massive cockroaches running on the pillow. I immediately try and hunt them down while waking my wife as she goes into a panic attack because she already has Katsaridaphobia (fear of roaches). I wake my daughter up since one runs under her sofa bed and am able to kill one. I take the dead ROACH I killed to front desk and show the night audit and she tells me she will switch my room to another. We gather our belongings while my wife is already telling me how she is throwing everything away because we don't know if eggs were laid in our backpacks or clothing. We leave room 223 and go into room 321. As I turn on the light by the bed I see a huge ROACH run under the bed while seeing another dead one by the light stand. I head back down to front desk and it's already close to 6am now. Speak with the agent and she says they will cancel my stay so I can go to another hotel. I wait until 7am 715am to speak with management but am told they won't be in until later in the day but they would contact me. I have to gather my wife and daughter and belongings and look for another hotel to stay in which already made things more inconvenient. I've called and tried to speak with Management on various occasions just for Front desk agents to tell me they will call me back and never do.
Jaramillo Mara the assistant Manager is even worse. She does not care about their guests and will blame you via email for your bad stay. It's unbelievable how things are handled here but doesn't surprise me with the bad Hotel Management here.
